CECILE G. DERY DEMING, NM. ~ Cecile G. (OConnor) Dery, 88, of Deming, N.M. died Sunday, July 26th at Silver City Care Center in Silver City, NM. She was the widow of Benoit A. Dery and had been married for 53 years until he passed away. Mrs. Dery was born December 1, 1920 in Lowell, MA, daughter of the late Ovila and Albertine (Poirier) OConnor. She had resided in Deming, NM for 30 years, moving there from Waterbury. She was a member of the Senior Circle and the Extension Club in Deming. She was a former member of the Shrine of St. Anne and the Ladies of St. Anne. She leaves her sons, Arthur Dery and his wife Barbara of Deming, NM, Ronald Dery and his wife, Sally of Deming, NM, and David Dery and his wife, Joan of Wolcott, her daughter, Janet Chamallas and her husband, Stanley of Tynsboro, MA, her brothers, Richard OConnor and his wife Frances of Wolcott, Donald OConnor and his wife, Laurie of Meriden, and Andre OConnor and his wife Sueko of Sarasota, FL, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 3rd at 8:45 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to The Church of the Epiphany, Cheshire for a funeral mass at 10 am.
