Wolcott Mrs. Carolyn Ellen (Reilly) Vanyo, 85, passed away on September 12, 2021 at the Southington Care Center. She was the widow of the late Robert R. Vanyo who predeceased her in 2020. Carolyn was born on June 22, 1936 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Harold Reilly and Lillian (Reilly) Lafond. Carolyn will be remembered for her devotion to and love for her family. She enjoyed reading, crafts, bird watching, time with her family, and was a lover of music, especially Neil Diamond. Carolyn is survived by her children, Sharon Vanyo of Waterbury, Michael Vanyo and his fianc Linda Lambert of Wolcott, and Jennifer Croce and her husband Frank of Wolcott; her beloved grandchildren, Lindsey Camacho, Megan Croce and Katie Croce; her cousin Joyce Pavio, whom she loved dearly; and her cherished extended family and friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Southington Care Center for the superb and compassionate care Carolyn received while there. Funeral services will be held privately.
