Carol Salmon Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother WOLCOTT- Mrs. Carol (Brokvist) Salmon age 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday Dec 16th at St. Marys Hospital VITAS Innovative Care. She was the wife of the late Chester Salmon. Carol was born on July 20, 1929 in Cleveland, OH. She was the daughter of the late Ture and Ragnhild (Englund) Brokvist. Carol has been a proud resident of Wolcott for nearly 40 years. Prior to Carol's retirement from Airpax in Cheshire, she had a long career as a school bus driver for the town of Cheshire. Carol was an avid bowler in multiple leagues at Lakewood Lanes and truly enjoyed going to Las Vegas, the casinos and playing bingo. Carol also participated in many activities at the Wolcott Senior Center. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons Carl and his wife Judith Salmon, Dale Salmon, her daughter Deborah Salmon, her daughter-in-law Michele Salmon, her grandchildren Kevin and his wife Jaclyn; David and his wife Jennie, 'Her Boys' Nicholas and Christopher Salmon, her step grandson Michael, her two great granddaughters Adrianna and Aubrey as well as several nieces and nephews and her dog Alex. Friends and family are invited to visit and celebrate her life on Saturday January 6, 2024 from 12 to 2 PM at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott.
