Obituary

On July 1, 2026, Carol (Baldino) Poveromo at the age of 64 passed peacefully at VITAS hospice after her long struggle with addiction.

Born in Arlington, VA on April 7, 1962, she was the daughter of Francis (White) Baldino and the late Daniel Baldino Jr. and was predeceased by her husband Hank “Big” Poveromo Sr.

Carol is survived by her son Zach and his wife Lauren Poveromo, three grandchildren Peyton, Hudson, and Aubree Poveromo, her late husband’s children, Hank Poveromo Jr., Amy and her husband John Bracken, and three step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Adam and Alyssa Bracken, along with her step-great grandson Greyson Piper. She also leaves her two sisters, Patty and her husband John Raymond, Beverly Yoniak, and her three brothers Charlie and his wife Marinete Baldino, Bobby and his wife Margaret Baldino, and Daniel III and his wife Christine Baldino along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and father, she was predeceased by two sisters Barbara Hernandez and Darlene Parker.

Calling hours will be on Friday July 10th from 9 to 11 AM at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. Woodtick Memorial is honored to have been entrusted with Carol’s funeral arrangements, and you may visit her tribute page on www.woodtickmemorial.com.
