Waterbury Carmen Milagros Adames-Rosado, 57, passed away suddenly in her home on Sunday, December 17, 2017. She was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on May 13th 1960 to the late Christino Adames Montalvo & Angela Cajigas. She attended and graduated from the Bridgeport school system and was a recent CNA graduate of Stone Academy sponsored by the Hispanic Coalition of Waterbury. She enjoyed arts & crafts, trying her luck on scratch off tickets, dressing up her dog Moochie, babysitting her fur-grandson Chuy, spending time with her daughters & grandchildren, and nights listening and dancing to Spanish music with her family & friends, especially with her sister-in-laws. Carmen shared over 35 years with the love of her life, Wilfred Rosado Sr. Together they enjoyed trips to the casino, watching her favorite show, The Walking Dead and spending countless hours at Dunkin Donuts. After the loss of their son Wilfred Rosado Jr., also known as Lil Freddy they were inspired to keep his memory alive and together with their family formed The Lil Freddy Memorial Foundation. Their purpose is to provide scholarships to Waterbury students that shadow the interests of their son. In addition to her husband Wilfred, Carmen is survived by her mother, Angela Cajigas, her children; Manuel Dejesus, Carmen Jessica Rosado-Cross & husband Douglas and Alicia Rosado. She also leaves behind her stepdaughters, Brenda Goldberg & husband Dave, Leticia Rosado and Danielle Rosado Vargas & husband Jose. Her siblings, Maria Delosangeles Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, Jesus Rodriguez, & Jose E. Rodriguez and 14 grandchildren. Calling hours will be held Friday, December 22nd from 5pm to 8pm at Woodtick Memorial Funeral Home, 420 Woodtick Road in Wolcott. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 9 am at the Immaculate Conception in Waterbury; burial immediately following at Calvary Cemetery.
