BLANCHE CABANA Parishioner of the Shrine of St. Anne WATERBURY ~ Blanche (Despins) Cabana, 77, of Waterbury passed away peacefully on July 29th. She was the wife of Albert Cabana. Mrs. Cabana was born December 10, 1932 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Emile and Eva (Dessureault) Despins. She graduated in 1953 from St. Marys Nursing School and was a longtime parishioner of the Shrine of St. Anne. Blanche spent most of her life being a caregiver to her family and friends. Besides her husband of 46 years, she leaves her niece, Karen Chicoine, her nephew, Gary Baldowski, her great niece, Kristine Chicoine, her great nephew, Scott Chicoine, her brother-in-law, Wilfred Cabana, her sister-in-law, Doris Tata, and several family members and longtime friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 2nd at 9 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to the Shrine of St. Anne for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am.
