BRISTOL ~ Betty M. Stitham, 84, of Bristol passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013 at her home. Betty was born February 17, 1929 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Harry R. and Lena L. (Hart) Bergen. She retired from Bussman Fuse of Bristol and enjoyed painting and crossword puzzles. Betty leaves her daughter, Catherine Dragon of Bristol, her sister, Linda Bergen of Florida, and her grandchildren, Jay Monterose, Norman and Anne Marie Dragon and Jaimie Pinto. She was predeceased by her children, Scott Stitham, John Stitham, Jr., and Mary Pinto , her siblings, Dick Bergen and Janet Korn, and step-mother, Lavergne Bergen. A Remembrance Service will be held at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
