BERTHA J. MADORE WOLCOTT ~ Bertha J. (Dumond) Madore, 73, of Wolcott passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6th at St. Marys Hospital. She is the wife of Armand Madore. Mrs. Madore was born July 3, 1935 in Ft. Kent, ME, daughter of the late Fleurent and Alvine (Pelletier) Dumond. She retired from Timex Corp. after 48 years of service. She was a communicant of St. Pius X Church and a member of the Charles Rietdyke Senior Center. Bertha enjoyed listening to the Old Time Fiddlers. Besides her husband of 55 years, she leaves her sons, Robert Madore and his wife Kimberly of Odenton, MD, Ronald Madore and his fiance, Robin Seeley of Wolcott, and Brian Madore of Thomaston, her daughters, Linda Martin and her husband, Frank of Waterbury, and Monica DiLeo and her husband, Angelo of Wolcott, her grandchildren, Melissa Roy, Steven Martin and Catherine Stone, and her great grandchildren, Joshua and Emily Roy, Steven and Shea Martin and Aria Stone. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 10th at 8:45 am from the Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Pius X Church for a funeral mass at 10 am. Entombment will follow at the Garden Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 8 pm.
