OBITUARY BARBARA E. (SPRAGUE) WOOD Wolcott ~ Mrs. Barbara E. (Sprague) Wood, 68, formerly of Carver, MA, died Wednesday, May 13. She was the wife of Curtis W. Wood. Mrs. Wood was born January 23, 1942 in Brockton, MA daughter of the late Maynard W. and Dorothy (Hayden) Sprague. Barbara was a dedicated member of the Wolcott Congregational Church, the Wolcott Historical Society and enjoyed opening her historical home for tours. She will be remembered for her love of gardening, sewing, antiques and collecting. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, Christopher Lackey of Assonet, MA, Steven A. Ackers of Wolcott and Michael Ackers of Wolcott; three daughters, Jacquelyn Pimental of Carver, MA, Becky Chase of Plymouth, MA and Robin Doyle of Wolcott and twelve grandchildren, Derek, Benjamin, Lauren, Kandi, Jennifer, Jade, Zac, Lyndsey, Nic, Emmalee, Samantha and London. She was predeceased by a brother, Calvin Sprague. Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday evening, May 19, at 8:00 P.M. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until time of service at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 20 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mt.
