Wallingford - Barbara Ellen Soucy, 76, of Lady Lake Villages, Florida, formerly of Wolcott, died November 24, 2013 at Masonicare in Wallingford, CT. Barbara was born on August 8, 1937 on Mount Desert Island, Hancock County Maine. She was the daughter of the late Howard E. Small and Lulu M. Robinson. While living in Wolcott, CT she married Clarence Soucy and worked at Philips Electronics North American Corporation. Barbara was an avid golfer, loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Upon the death of her husband she retired to Lady Lake Villages, Florida. She leaves four daughters, Debra Krol and her husband Lee, Sheree Jordan and her husband Dennis Strozzi, Kim Willette and her husband Bill, Lisa Pappas, five grandchildren, Amanda Kennedy and her husband, Steven, Melissa Willette, Christen J. Cappello, Julianne J. Cappello and Christopher Pappas. She was predeceased by a brother, Howard Small Jr. Family and friends are asked to gather at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott on Saturday at 1:30pm November 30, for a service to be held at 2:00pm, Burial will follow in Woodtick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association or Masonicare, 22 Masonic Ave. Wallingford, CT 06492.
