BARBARA J. PINTO ONE OF 19 CHILDREN WOLCOTT ~ Barbara J. (Trader) Pinto, 83, of Wolcott died Monday, January 7th at Wolcott View Manor surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Dr. Daniel P. Pinto. Mrs. Pinto was born October 30, 1924 in Duluth, MN, one of 19 children to Peter and Katherine (Kujawa) Trader. She was a wonderful mother to her children and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved shopping, dancing, and trips to the casinos. She was a fan of the UCONN Huskies Womens Basketball team. She was a parishioner of St. Maria Goretti Church. She is survived by her sons, David Pinto of Bristol and Daniel G. Pinto of Albany, NY, her daughters, Janice Pinto of Bristol and Susan Pinto of Wolcott, her sisters, Margaret Franckowick and Angie Hill of Duluth, MN, her brother, Walter Trader of Duluth, MN, her grandchildren, David and Michael Pinto, Derek Masterbone, and her great grandson, Brody James Pinto. She was predeceased by her son, Kenneth Pinto. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 8 am from the Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Maria Goretti Church for a funeral mass at 9. Burial to follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
