BARBARA E. HANCOCK WOLCOTT ~ Barbara E. (Donnelly) Hancock, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 11th at Waterbury Hospital. Barbara was born January 13, 1947 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Matthew and Dorothy (Squires) Donnelly. She adored children and was a nanny for over thirteen years. She was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul Society. Barbara leaves her sons, Robert Hancock of Thomaston, Edmond Hancock of E. Hampton, and Matthew Hancock and his wife, Tonia of Oakville, her grandchildren, Chandler and Morgan Hancock, and her sister-in-law, Pam Donnelly of Whitinsville, MA. She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert and Matthew Donnelly. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott on Monday from 5 to 8 pm.
