BRISTOL- Miss Barbara A. Capaldo, 78, formerly of Waterbury CT, died on Saturday September 2nd at Litchfield Woods Healthcare Center in Torrington. Born in Waterbury on January 27, 1945, Barbara was the daughter of the late Louis and Dorothy (Might) Capaldo. She was an employee of Burger King, then Pizza Hut, and retired from MacDonalds all of Bristol CT. She was a member of the Elks Club of Bristol CT. She loved to bowl, play BINGO, do word search puzzles, playing Solitaire, and WWE Wrestling. She will be most remembered for her love for her sisters, family, her boyfriend Ralph Davis, her dog Chichi, her friends at DeLorenzo Towers, Bristol, bowling at Spare Time, Bristol, her bowling teams, her favorite caretaker Rita Redican, her love for everyone, her hugs, and smile. Left to cherish her memory are her nieces and spouses, Theresa Prisco (Giovanni Prisco), Lisa Dunn (Tom Dunn), and Tina Beltrami; nephews and spouses, Christopher Christoff, and Steven Martino (Susie Martino); several great nieces and nephews; and great great niece and nephews; and three of many cousins, Diane Capaldo, Tina Ericson (Glenn Ericson), and Sandi Boyce (Don Boyce). In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her sisters and brother in-laws, June Christoff (Anthony Christoff), Patricia Martino, Virginia Capaldo, and Constance Picard (Albert Picard). Mass will be on Thursday 10 AM at St. Pius X Church/St. Basil the Great Parish 525 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
