Wolcott ~ Armand M. Daviault, 77, of Wolcott passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Bristol Hospital. He was the widower of Marjorie (Sherman) Daviault.
Mr. Daviault was born May 8, 1935 in Pembroke, NH, son of the late Roger and Roseann (St. Germaine) Daviault. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. He retired from the U.S. Treasury Department after 35 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 165, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and the National Treasury Employees Union. He was a family man who was very involved with his children as they grew up and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed vintage cars and collecting antiques. He was an avid NY Giants and Boston Red Sox Fan.
Mr. Daviault leaves his son, Justin Daviault and his wife, Janice and their children, Aurora, Amber and Aidan of Southington, his daughter, Michele Brockie and her husband, Justin and their children, Iona, Calum, and Siraya, his five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 10 am at St. Maria Goretti Church, 1300 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Everyone is asked to meet at the Church. Burial will take place on Saturday at Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Bedford, MA. There are no calling hours. Woodtick Memorial has been entrusted with Mr. Daviaults arrangements.
