Waterbury -Annette Vella, 97, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2017, at Middlebury Convalescent Home. She was the wife of the late Joseph Vella. Mrs. Vella is survived by her daughters, Janice Terni and her husband, Nicholas; and Anne Vella; her granddaughters, Stacey Salvietti, and her husband, John, and their children, Brandon and Brooke; and Jennifer Laird, and her husband, Adam, and their children Tyler and Kaley; and several nieces and nephews. Including her husband, Joseph, Mrs. Vella was predeceased by her 4 siblings. A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 30 at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. A calling hour will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Annettes family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the nurses, aides, and staff of the Middlebury Convalescent Home for the loving and compassionate care shown during her stay. They truly went above and beyond and their kindness will always be remembered.
