ANNETTE ROSATO
WATERBURY ~ Annette (Desjardins) Rosato, 93, of Waterbury, passed away on Tuesday, November 24th at Rosegarden Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Salvatore Rosato.
Mrs. Rosato was born September 19, 1916 in New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Francis and Rose (Theriault) Desjardins. She retired from W.D. Stanley, Inc. after 10 years of service. One of her greatest joys was her weekly visit to the Lourdes Shrine in Litchfield. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and had a gift for cooking. Annette was an animal lover, especially fond of cats and was an avid Mets and Red Sox fan. Her other interests included antiquing trips in Vermont.
Besides her husband of Waterbury, she leaves her sons, Richard and his wife, Flora of Harwinton and Ronald of Waterbury, her sister, Cecile Mirto of Wolcott, her brothers, Albert of Florida and Edmond of Waterbury and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, December 5th at 9 am at the Immaculate Conception Church, 74 West Main St., Waterbury. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
The family would like to thank the nurses, caregivers, and hospice at Rosegarden for their loving and devoted care.
