WOLCOTT ~ Ann (Craft) OReilly, 96, of Wolcott passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Harold OReilly.
Ann was born August 4, 1917 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Andrew and Josephine (Fossbender) Craft. She retired in 1966 from Farer News after 18 years of service. Prior employment included 15 years at Brookside Dairy. Ann was a member of the Charles Reitdyke Senior Center and participated on the Centers bowling team. She was well known among the senior center members as the "Tour Director", planning many interesting excursions to various places.
Ann leaves her niece, Darlene Craft of Waterbury, her grandniece, Marci Jo Craft and her husband, John Drewry of Waterbury, her great grandnieces and nephew, Emily, Nellie and Seth Drewry, and her sister-in-law, Hazel Craft. She was predeceased by her brother, George Craft.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 10 am at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott, to St. Leo the Great Church for a funeral mass at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 am until the time of the service.
