WATERBURY ~ Andrew R. Delage, 46 of Waterbury passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Waterbury Hospital.
Andrew was born January 27, 1967 in Waterbury, son of Paul Delage, Sr. and the late Louise (Longo) Delage. He was a communicant of the Shrine of St. Anne Church and the Holy Name Society. He retired from Stop & Shop after 15 years of service and was currently employed by Abilities Without Boundaries. Andrew played soccer, volleyball, basketball, and softball with the state and local Olympic games and also participated in the World Special Games. He was an avid fan of the UCONN Womans and Mens basketball teams.
Besides his father of Waterbury, he leaves his brothers, Paul Delage, Jr. and his wife Hilary of Cheshire, Thomas Delage and his wife, Patti of Watertown, and Louis Delage of Wolcott, his nephews and nieces, Matthew, Ryan, T.J., Arianna, Brendyn, Alexandra, Aibhlin, and Meaghan.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to Blessed Sacrament Church for a funeral mass at 12 noon. Burial will be scheduled at a later date. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 8 pm.
