WATERBURY ~ Alphy Chabre, 75, of Waterbury, passed away at St. Marys Hospital on Wednesday, January 04, 2012. Alphy was born December 3, 1936 in Van Buren, ME, son of the late Emile and Edith (Labelle) Chabre. He was a lifetime member of the Franco American Social Club of Waterbury. He enjoyed visiting with his brother, Gil at his home in Massachusetts and working in his yard. Alphy liked to visit the casinos at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. He leaves his siblings, Mary Jane Keel of Cambridge, MA, Carline Masiak of Waterbury, Gilman Chabre of MA, Herman Chabre of Utah, Hedrick Chabre of ME and several nieces and nephews.
