WOLCOTT ~ Alma C. (Prusi) Proietti, 89, of Wolcott passed away at St. Marys Hospital on Sunday, September 18, 2011. She was the widow of John Proietti. Mrs. Proietti was born April 29, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Paolotti) Prusi. She retired from Scovill Mfg. Co. after 30 years of service and Shaws after 10 years. Mrs. Proietti enjoyed reading and baking, but her family was her focus. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She leaves her daughter, Helen Holland of Wolcott, her son John Proietti and his wife, Carol Frazier of Lakewood, Ohio, her sister, Rose Minucci of Lindenhurst, N.J., her brothers, Larry Prusi of N. Babylon, NY, and Alex Prusi of Pleasant Valley, NY, and her granddaughters, Alena and Jaylin Holland of Wolcott. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:15 from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Leo the Great Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am.
