ALLEN GENE KIRK WATERBURY ~ Allen Gene Kirk, 65, of Waterbury passed away on August 17th at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Anita (Yaroshefski) Kirk. Mr. Kirk was born September 20, 1944 in Greenville, TX, son of the late Collin Oxford Kirk and Exie Leora (Prince) Kirk. He had been employed at Scovill Century Brass for many years. "Gene" was an avid Giants fan, enjoyed swimming and spending time with his yard and his grandchildren. Beside his wife of 44 years, he leaves his son, Brian Kirk of Bristol, his daughter, Lisa Ann Mancini and her husband William, Jr. of Waterbury, his brother-in-law, Horace Tartaglia of Waterbury, his grandchildren, Jessica, Kristi, Melanie, and Matthew, his brother, Bill, his sisters, Dixie, Rosemary and Carolyn, several nieces, Donna and Judy, and several other nieces and nephews, and his beloved Jack Russell, Maggie. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Michaels Church for a funeral mass at 10 am.
