Waterbury - Mrs. Alice (Sullivan) Pelletier, 78, of Waterbury, passed away on Sunday, August 2 at the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of the late Carl Pelletier, Sr.
Alice was born on October 25, 1936 in Waterbury to the late William and Mary (Negus) Sullivan. Alice worked and retired from the Alden Corporation where she was a dedicated employee for over 20 years. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Annes, the VFW Post 7779 Ladies Auxiliary, and the Elks B.P.O.E Lodge 265. Alice was also a long time member of the Shrine of St. Annes Church. She loved to work in her garden and tend to the outdoor surroundings of her home.
Alice leaves her three sons, Carl Pelletier Jr., Mark Pelletier and his wife Sue, and Wayne Pelletier; along with her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Jamie, Jason and Erica Pelletier; her brother, George Sullivan; and sister, Marlene Sullivan. She was predeceased by her brother, Eldridge Sullivan.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 6 at 9:30 A.M. at the Shrine of St. Annes, 515 S Main St, Waterbury. Burial will follow in Old St. Joseph Cemetery.
