WATERBURY ~ Alice P. Ferreira, 92, of Waterbury passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at her home. She was the widow of Antonio Ferreira. Mrs. Ferreira was born May 20, 1920 in Vilar, Portugal, daughter of the late Jaime and Joaquina Goncalves. She was an accomplished seamstress and had been employed at Hillside Dress Co. for many years. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She leaves her son, Jaime Ferreira and his wife, Aida of Waterbury, her daughter, Ernestina Goncalves, a granddaughter, Titihna Freiras and a great grandson, Concalo Freiras. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Waterbury.
