Alexander Joseph Balzano "The Moogman" Wolcott - Alexander Joseph Balzano, 64, of Wolcott, passed away on December 1, 2022. Alexander was born on January 22, 1958 in Waterbury, son of Joanne (White) LHeureux and the late Joseph V. Balzano. Alexander was an accomplished musician and produced many copyrighted songs over the years. He was also a man of great faith. He had a deep love for his family, as he took care of his mother for years. Alexander was also an amazing cook and even though he was very sick, he continued to work hard every day to prepare meals for the family right up to the last day of his life. All who knew him will miss him dearly. Besides his mother, Alexander is survived by his sister, Dr. Jennifer Rosser and her husband Joseph Carey Rosser; his brother Francis Balzano and his wife Gail; his nieces Hannah and Miranda and her husband Dr. Grant Shelton; his great-nephew Landon; his aunt Jane Emmons; and his beloved cat Sylvester. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17 at 11:00 A.M. At the Waterbury Church of Christ 3211 N. Main Street, Waterbury.
