ALBERT A. LITRO WOLCOTT ~ Albert A. Litro, 88, of Wolcott passed away on Sunday, January 24th at St. Marys Hospital. He was the widow of Mary (Rudenko) Litro who passed away in 2003. Mr. Litro was born November 24, 1921 in Glens Falls, NY son of the late Albert and Agnes (Dallessandro) Litro. He was a U.S. Navy career veteran who served during WWII and retired in 1960. After retiring from the Navy, he was employed by the State of Connecticut as an Employment Security Interviewer and retired in 1978 after 18 years of service. He was an animal activist and provided a home for many animals. Mr. Litro was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church. He leaves his sister Madeline Queor of Middletown and his caregivers, Richard and Lorraine Joseph of Wolcott. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 8:30 from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Maria Goretti Church for a funeral mass at 9:30 am.
