Heaven certainly gained a new angel on Wednesday July 1st, when Adam Alexander Fontalvo went to be with our Lord from CT Children’s Hospital in Hartford at the age of 8 years. Adam was the wonderful son of Alex Fantalvo and Glendaliz Suriel, brother of Mia, Aiden and Ares Fontalvo all of Wolcott. He also leaves his maternal grandmother Anna Castillo, his paternal grandparents Alberto Fontalvo and Nelly Fontalvo and several aunts’ uncles and cousins.

Born in Yonkers NY on March 8, 2018, Adam and his family moved to Wolcott in 2021. Adam had just finished second grade at Alcott School where he was loved and made so many wonderful friends. He had the personality that lit up every room he walked into and enjoyed being the center of attention. Adam was a wonderful boy who loved Spiderman, playing video games and joking around with friends and family.

Adam recently had a battle with illnesses in his eye that required several surgeries and unexpected complications that lead to his passing. His incredible personality and great faith in God was a blessing to all who knew him and he will never be forgotten.

Friends and family are welcome to celebrate Adam’s life on Saturday July 11th at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. Visitation with viewing will begin at 9 AM and a funeral Service will commence at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Woodtick Cemetery.
