Wolcott – Yolanda Cordato, 89, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. She was the wife of the late Anthony Cordato.
Yolanda was born in Harlem, New York on September 27, 1931, daughter of Rocco and Concetta (Perrella) Marchetti. Yolanda loved to cook and enjoyed hosting her Christmas Eve dinners. She will be missed dearly.
Yolanda leaves behind her daughter, Maria Ricci, and her husband, Bart Monti; her sister, Roberta Iacobellis; her brother-in-law Joseph Siligato; her grandchildren, Ashley Ramirez, and her husband, Nico; and Gina Ricci; her beloved dog, Zoey; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Including her husband, Anthony, Yolanda was predeceased by her daughter, Lori Ann Cordato; her son in law, Jack Ricci; and her brothers and sisters.
A walk-through visitation will be held on Monday, January 4 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road. The funeral mass will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
