Tribute

Waterbury – Suzanne L. Wiggins, 63, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021.

Suzanne (Sue AKA “Titi”) was born in Waterbury on September 24, 1957, daughter of the late Gabriel Wiggins and Ruth (Bansleben) Austin. She recently retired after 20 plus years from Webster Bank, most recent location being Southington. She had an amazing heart-full of love for everyone who came into her life. Sue loved crafts, gardening, baking and her biggest love, quilting. She made sure everyone in the family had a special quilt or crafts from her.

Sue’s favorite joy was being around her family. She loved holidays (especially Christmas) and spending time with her beloved sister/best friend, Mary. Sue also helped raise her nephew, Ryan, in New York City until he was a teenager. She was like a mother to him and loved him like her own, and over the last few years lived with her sister Mary. They spent much of their lives caring for each other and living together between NYC and CT.

“Titi” was the aunt that spoiled her nieces and nephews with love and there are many great memories that will live on in her honor. She played a grandmother roll to her great niece (Morgan) and nephew (Adam) and they brought her so much joy and she brought them unconditional love.

Suzanne leaves behind her brother, Michael Wiggins; her sister, Mary Wiggins; her sister in law, Kathy Wiggins; nieces and nephews, Ryan Rodriguez-Wiggins (Lauren); Rene Wiggins; Andrea O’Brien (Chris); Justin Wiggins (Kristen); Lindsey Lalley (Pat) and Ian Wiggins; great nieces, Morgan; Eve and Teddy ; great nephews, Adam; Grant; Quinn and Hank. As well as her favorite dogs, Remy, Brady and Georgie.

Including her parents, Gabriel Wiggins and Ruth Austin, Sue was also predeceased by her brother, Adam Wiggins and his wife, Patricia; Ryan’s father, Guiellermo Rodriguez-Posse and her infant twin great-nephews.
