Waterbury - Richard “Dickie” Brundage, 67, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Dickie was born in Waterbury on August 27, 1949 to the late Robert and Francis Brundage. He was raised in Prospect and moved to Wolcott in his 30’s. Dickie owned and operated Jodi Trucking, and Round House Productions, working with many local bands. He donated his time to the Wolcott High School Music program; the Wolcott Lions Club Country Fair; Wolcott Miss America Pageants, and was involved in the Wolcott Concert Series. He was also a member of E2, Eagles Experience, and Summertime Johnny.

Dickie is survived by his sons, Richard John Brundage; and Shane Eric Austin; his brothers, Robert Brundage, and his wife, Linda; William Edward Brundage, and his wife, Brenda; and Mark A. Brundage, Sr., and his wife, Debbie; his grandchildren, Sabrina, Alexander, and Kyle Brundage; his close friends, Joanne A. Brundage; and Selma Haddad; many nieces and nephews, and extended family.


Including his parents, Dickie was predeceased by his sister, Nancy Mulchaney; and his grandson, Robert Allen Brundage.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 20 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Burial will be held privately.
