Waterbury – Lawrence E. Montambault, born on November 8, 1948, passed from this world on January 12, 2018, at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, his father Lawrence Montambault, and his mother Ann (Certani) Montambault. He spoke fondly of his friends and family members.

Lawrence had many hobbies throughout his life, some of which included motorcycling, skiing, video gaming, movie watching, guitar playing and firearm training. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He finished his obligation in the U.S. Navy and returned home to Waterbury, CT to grow his entrepreneurial businesses. He marched to a beat of a different drum. Lawrence was a night owl, up all night and sleeping most of the day.

He will be remembered for his remarkable wit, eccentricity, ability to dominate a conversation, and a gentle heart.

Lawrence will be missed by all he loved and loved him.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery 2324 East Main Street, Waterbury, meet at the office. Family and friends are invited afterwards to celebrate his life.
