Kim “Roger” Jandreau – Worked at Southbury Training School
Oakville - Kim “Roger” Jandreau, 55, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 9, 2017.
Roger was born on July 11, 1961, in Fort Kent, Maine, to the late Roger and Iona (Pelletier) Jandreau. He worked at Southbury Training School for many years. He enjoyed his job and loved all the staff he worked with. Roger was a kind and generous man, who was a big fan of the UConn basketball team. He was a big prankster and loved to laugh and joke around with everyone. He loved all animals and was very devoted to the ones he had. He will sadly be missed by all who knew him.
Roger is survived by his sister, Judy A. Jandreau, of Wolcott; his brother, Andrew J. Jandreau, and his wife, Linda, of Waterbury; his nieces, Jennifer LaForme, and her fiancé, Jason Hultgren, of Ansonia; Dana Jandreau, Melissa Jandreau, and Jennifer Churchelow, all of Waterbury; 2 great-nephews, Jeffery Pashko, of Waterbury, and Hunter Irwin, of Ansonia; close family friend, Holly Babcock; and extended family and friends.
Roger is predeceased by his father, Roger O. Jandreau; his mother, Iona Jandreau; and his brother Paul R. Jandreau.
In keeping with Roger’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 14, at 10 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Burial will be held privately.
