Mr Joseph R Meccariello

October 23, 1933 ~ September 13, 2017 (age 83)

The Piano Brothers
Beloved Brother, Devoted Uncle, Loyal Friend
Waterbury – Joseph R. Meccariello, 83, entered peaceful rest on Wednesday, September 13, 2017.
Joseph was the son of the late Thomas and Petronilla Meccariello.

Joe is survived by his brother, Thomas, of Watertown; and a sister, Eleanor, with whom he resided.

He was predeceased by four brothers, Domenic, Frank, Edward, and Andrew; and two sisters, Christine and Anna.

As a graphic designer for SNET until his retirement in 1997, his achievements and artistic awards were many, his artistry and creativity beyond unique. His most cherished piece of artistry came in the privilege of a CD recording of inspirational songs entitled, “Lord Jesus I Love Thee.”

Over the years, he spent memorable times with his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and all of his many friends – and now as he enters his Eternal Rest, he forever shares the company of his “Best” Friend, Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 16 at 10 a.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Pastor Mark Angerosa of White Oak Baptist Church will be officiating.
