Matriarch of her family

WOLCOTT- Mrs. Donna (Jacques) Trumfio, 80, beloved wife of the late Thomas Trumfio, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 21st at the St. Mary’s Home in West Hartford.

Born in Hartford on November 18, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Patricia Jacques.  Donna was a lifelong Wolcott resident and was raised by her grandparents Henry and Beatrice Jacques. She was a very artistically talented person who enjoyed crafts, painting, knitting, crocheting, and cooking. Hosting the holidays was her one of her favorite past times. She was a very faithful person, an active parishioner of St. Pius X Church where she was a eucharistic minister.

In addition to her large extended family through the Jacques, left to cherish her memory are her daughter Patty Trumfio-Gurbuz and her husband Adem, her son Carmine Trumfio and his wife Tammy, her granddaughter Candida Streeter, step grandson Donald Worth II, two great grandchildren Luna and Levi Ulerio and many nieces and nephews. 

Donna’s life will be celebrated on Saturday April 6th at St. Pius X Church/ St. Basil The Great Parish 525 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. There are no calling hours and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Following the Mass there is a gathering at J&M Pizza 1512 Wolcott Rd. in Wolcott.
