Salisbury - Cecile Veillette, 89, formerly of Oakville, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Noble Horizons. She was the wife of the late Martial Veillette.
Cecile was born in Manchester, NH on November 29, 1931, daughter of the late Janet and Albert Chouinard. Cecile lived most of her life in Waterbury. She was a communicant of St. Mary Magdalen. She worked for Bristol Babcock for 30 years before her retirement and was a member of the Franco American Glee Club. Cecile happily lived at Noble Horizons for the last 13 years.
Cecile is survived by her sisters, Rita Gravel, of Naugatuck and Lorraine Normandin, of Oakville, her sisters in law, Therese Veillette; and Alberte Deschaines, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Including her husband, Martial, Cecile was predeceased by her brothers, Armand and Richard Chouinard.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 30 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 16 Buckingham St., Oakville. Meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
